adam42: social context ubiquity

This project - which started out as a university project - is a nice example of what I would call social context ubiquity:

dodgeball.com

The question is now: Would this type of project - in that scale - work out as well (that's the way I see it: Successful) as in USA? Personally I think that people would be a bit afraid of the fact that they are being 'observed' and tracked... That's is how I see the inhabitants in Denmark would react to the idea of dogdeball.com...

Interesting! This is a PS2 interface that punishes the video-football/soccer player when the opposing team scores on you. With a hammer. :)

adam42: Welcome to all the new ones in the Ubiquitous Computing community

Hi there,

I'm quite surprised to see that we are already 8 members; I thought that it might take some time to settle before people started to join...

So if the rate of growth keeps up this pace, we will be 2920 members at this time next year (hehe: a very nice thought there)...

Anyway: If you have any suggestions to the interests list in the user info of this community give me a shout, right?

See ya!

I've got some more interests for the community:

pervasive computing, smart spaces, intelligent spaces, new media, haptics, wireless computing, mobile computing, etc....

adam42: well... So I did throw me into creating this community...

Welcome to this newly opened community for people interested in every aspect of ubiuquitous computing...

My hope is - of course - that it will grow and grow in size as time goes on; so please tell your friends, who are interested in ubiquitous computing (-:)...
